100% best breakfast in the area. I come here a couple times per month and am amazed that it doesn't get much traffic. I can't speak for the other dishes/meals, but the breakfast skillets are among the biggest and tastiest I've seen in the entire area. Their food is also affordable and service is quick and friendly too! If you need something fancy or modern stay away, but if you like a traditional Chicago breakfast, this place is a good choice. And if you like skillets, you must come here.

Service is always quick and food never disappoints. I love their skillets, and even their lunches are very good. Wraps, burgers, and fries....are very good. Prices are great.

Stopped here one Saturday morning with my girlfriend before we went to a convention in Rosemont. She had been here many times before and I'm glad she took me. I ordered the Irishman skillet and she got the veggie skillet. We both really enjoyed our meals and will be back! Only downside was our waitress would not refill our waters and never walked by where we could ask for the refills.

A real throw back kind of place. Perfect atmosphere for breakfast/lunch. They aren't open for dinner. It's reminiscent of "small town " America. The food is superb! I had French toast made with cinnamon bread and topped with fresh strawberries and a blueberry compote. (Love my sweets). My husband enjoyed his chicken wrap but it was so big he could only eat half! Guess what he ate for dinner the next night. This was my second visit to Mrs. V's. My first visit had been Eggs Benedict which were quite good. The Hollandaise was good not great but more than passable. Notably they poached the egg exactly the way I ordered it which is rare. I'd go back.
